A few notes about travel in Belize and our accommodations. As can be seen from the presentation of the Lodging and Amenities, Casa has been designed to provide comfortable, well-appointed surroundings for the day traveler returning from an excursion in the forest jungle. Casa is nonetheless located on the outskirts of the bush and visitors need to remain aware and respectful that the bush is home to a variety of wildlife. Travelers should exercise all of the cautions appropriate to a stay in such an environment.
Casa del Caballo Blanco recognizes the desirability and rewards of family travel. Our accommodations and food are ideal for young travelers, however, certain of the excursions offered by Casa del Caballo Blanco may not be suitable for young children. As illustrated and described in the Welcome page many of the structures at Casa are covered with palm leaf thatch; to minimize fire danger and to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of our guests Casa has a no smoking policy.
